ROW | Special Event – Burnout: The issue we can’t afford to ignore

Free | Wed 18 May, 12pm – 1pm (NZST)

Overview:

Hi ROW community member!

You most likely know me as the Founder of the Revolutionaries of Wellbeing. Some of you may have seen the Stuff media article or TV3’s The Project about how I burnt out in 2020-2021. But you most likely won’t have had the chance to hear the full story and the lessons I picked up along the way.

I’d like to share those with you.

On Wed 18 May from 12.00-1.00pm (NZ time), I’m hosting a special virtual lunch and learn session for members of ROW Green and ROW Gold. I’ll be sharing my own wellbeing journey, reflections and stories in relation to burnout and how that relates to a broader conversation your workplace may need to have about this emerging risk. Over the course of the session, I’ll tell you what I’ve learned are the essential ingredients of a satisfying life, navigating barriers, mitigating or avoiding burnout, and enhancing self-care.

It’ll be engaging and informative, and hopefully you’ll come away with a better understanding of your own current wellbeing, and pick up some strategies to implement immediately.

They say that sunlight is the best disinfectant. And I hope that by my sharing my story, and by shining a light on what burnout looks like and how it can be avoided, then you and your organisation can come out better.

Registration is easy and free.  Click below to register.

I look forward to seeing you there.
