ROW | Webinar – Defining wellbeing – what is it really, how do we measure it, and where are we going as a profession?

Free | Wed 30 March 2022, 12pm – 1pm (NZST)

Overview:

For our next webinar, we are delighted to be joined by Chris Jones, Chief Safety and Wellbeing Officer at Ara Poutama Department of Corrections. Join us as we try to define what wellbeing actually is (and what it isn’t), how we can create the right systems and conditions that allow wellbeing to emerge, and how we can best attempt to quantify those factors in an effort to measure success.

We’ll also be discussing the emergence of wellbeing as a profession, and the opportunity we have to grow and shape it in the coming years.

The agenda

1. Guest interview: We’ll start this session with the guest interview, facilitated by Sarah McGuinness.

2. Group discussion: After the interview, then we’ll open the ‘floor’ for discussion, and we welcome any questions you have about the interview topic.

3. News: We’ll invite you to share any news or wins, or ask workplace wellbeing questions of the group. Sarah will also share updates from the world of workplace wellbeing.

The event is open to members of ROW Network and ROW Gold only.

FYI – The discussion section will be recorded to turn into a podcast. The Q & A or subsequent discussions will be not be included in the podcast (and please let us know if you have any concerns).
