ROW Webinar: Wellbeing at Mitre 10
Free
Overview:
Mitre 10 has been a part of New Zealand’s home improvement culture since 1974. New Zealand owned and operated with stores across the country, Mitre 10 is a Kiwi success story. It is New Zealand’s largest home improvement and garden retailer and is part of New Zealand’s DIY DNA. Many New Zealanders have grown up with Mitre 10 and trust the brand so much so that it has been awarded the most trusted brand in New Zealand in home improvement retailing on five occasions.
To give a little something back to the community, Mitre 10 is involved in many uniquely New Zealand projects, such as the Mitre 10 Takahe Rescue project, the New Zealander of the Year, Community of the Year Award and the Neurological Foundation’s Annual Appeal on top of many individual projects supported by our local stores to help their local communities.
As a co-operative spread from Kaitaia to Invercargill, Mitre 10 is committed to the wellbeing of its team of over 5000 people. Of course, recent events with COVID-19 have meant the team has needed to come up with new and innovative ways to support their people, manage risk and sustain the business.
Join us as ROW Network member Nicky Primrose shares the Mitre 10 wellbeing journey, including insights, lessons learned and what’s ahead for the community-minded company. Nicky is Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner at Mitre 10.
