ROW Webinar: What motivates people?
Feel good messaging won’t motivate all employees, so what will? In this webinar, we’re joined by ROW behaviour change expert Dr Mark Wallace-Bell to discuss the science of behaviour change and the role of organisations in supporting healthy choices. We’ll also discuss motivation and commitment, and case studies for inspiration.
Dr Mark Wallace-Bell (RN, BSc (Hons)(Psych)PhD) is an internationally recognised health behaviour change specialist. He has facilitated health behaviour change programmes for numerous organisations in New Zealand and Australia. Mark brings scientific rigour to our research process, balanced with an understanding of the pressures and realities of business life.
When not with ROW, Mark is at the University of Canterbury where he teaches post graduate papers on health behaviour change. Mark is also a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
1. Panel discussion: We’ll start this discussion with the panel discussion, facilitated by host Sarah McGuinness.
2. Group discussion: After the discussion, then we’ll open the ‘floor’ for discussion, and we welcome any questions you have about the interview topic.
3. News: We’ll invite you to share any news or wins, or ask workplace wellbeing questions of the group. Sarah will also share updates from the world of workplace wellbeing.
The event is open to members of ROW Network and ROW Gold only.
